SDR Industry Veteran Will Drive Strategic Plan to Maximize Forum's Value to Its Member Companies
DENVER, September 11, 2007 - The Software Defined Radio (SDR) Forum, a nonprofit international industry association for reconfigurable wireless technology, has retained industry veteran Lee Pucker on a two-year contract to provide chief executive officer (CEO) services in a newly-created consultancy position reporting to the Forum's Board of Directors. Pucker has lately served as chief technology officer and vice president for corporate development at Forum member company Spectrum Signal Processing and is now forming his own firm, ForwardLink Consulting.
As consulting CEO of the SDR Forum, Pucker's primary responsibility will be to maximize the value the organization brings to its members by driving the development of the Forum's strategic plan and supporting the Forum's officers in executing on that plan. He will also help oversee the Forum's finances - ensuring its members' needs are met to the maximum extent possible while maintaining financial stability as a not-for-profit organization.
